Liquid Glass Coatings In The Balearic Islands

LiqSpray employs cutting-edge nanoscale liquid glass technology in the Balearic Islands, seamlessly combining protection, style, and durability. Specialising in tailored solutions, we safeguard various surfaces, including wood, stone, concrete, brick, tiles, marble, fabrics, solar panels, stainless steel, and glass. Our commitment is to deliver a protective layer of excellence, enhancing the beauty and extending the life of your surfaces.

Liquid Glass Coatings

This coating is designed to penetrate deeply into the structure of surfaces. After establishing itself in the substrate, it provides massive protection against abrasion and water ingress.

It was developed specifically for mineral-based surfaces such as sandstone, limestone, travertine, concrete, pavers and bricks.

Key Features

Application temperature: -5 to +30°C

Coating durability: 10 - 20 years or up to decades, depending on the nature of the surface.

Curing time: 48 hours.

Liquid Glass

SiO2 (silicon dioxide). Sand is 98% silicon dioxide, and glass is about 95% silicon dioxide.

In essence, the technology allows a nanoscale layer of particle-free molecular glass (500 times thinner than a human hair) to be deposited on the surface of most items.
The glass molecules (silicon dioxide/SiO2) come from quartz sands.

SiO2 is used as a flow agent in tomato sauce and toothpaste.
Humans would die if SiO2 were not in their diet.
SiO2 is used in hundreds of different industrial applications.
SiO2 coatings are hydrophobic.

Like household glass, the coatings are chemically inert and highly resistant to commonly used cleaning chemicals. These coatings also offer resistance to alkalis, acids and solvents. However, despite some similarities to standard glass, LiqSpray coatings are strikingly different. The coating is flexible, breathable, highly durable, heat tolerant, antimicrobial and offers non-stick and "easy clean" characteristics.
